The Sad Little Cloud

In a faraway land beyond the mountains, there was a little cloud named Cirrus. Cirrus was a cheerful cloud most of the time, but every now and then, he would feel a heavy feeling in his heart.

One sunny day, as Cirrus floated through the sky, he met a wise old sunbeam named Sunny. Sunny noticed the little cloud’s downcast expression and asked, “Dear Cirrus, why do you look so sad?”

Cirrus hesitated but decided to share his feelings with Sunny. “Well,” he began, “sometimes I feel this heaviness in my heart, and I don’t really understand why.”

Sunny listened kindly and then said, “Cirrus, what you’re feeling is called sadness. It’s a normal emotion that everyone feels from time to time. It’s okay to feel sad, and it’s important to talk about it.”

Sunny suggested they go on a journey together to explore Cirrus’s feelings. They floated gently over valleys and rivers, observing the world below. Along the way, they met a wise old oak tree named Oliver.

Oliver had weathered many storms and seen many clouds come and go. He shared his wisdom with Cirrus, saying, “Dear cloud, sadness is like a rain shower for your heart. It helps you grow and understand yourself better. Embrace it, and know that it will pass.”

With Oliver’s words in his heart, Cirrus began to see sadness in a new light. It wasn’t something to be afraid of; it was a natural part of life.

As the days passed, Cirrus continued to float through the sky, sometimes feeling happy and sometimes feeling sad. And that was perfectly okay. He learned to embrace his feelings and talk about them with his cloud friends.

One day, as a gentle rain fell from the sky, Cirrus realized that even though he felt sad, there was beauty in it. The rain was nourishing the earth, bringing life to flowers and trees.

From that moment on, Cirrus knew that sadness was a part of the grand cycle of emotions, just like the changing seasons. It allowed him to grow, understand himself better, and appreciate the moments of joy even more.

And so, dear children, remember the tale of Cirrus the Sad Little Cloud. Just like him, you might feel sad sometimes, and that’s okay. Talk about your feelings, and know that they are a natural part of life’s beautiful tapestry. Embrace them, and remember that after the rain, there’s always a rainbow.
